BRUCE BOLLARD

Bruce's passion for wine began in the early 1990's when he left a fast-paced, high-stress corporate career to pursue his dream of working in the wine industry. That dream became a reality. For the past 14 years, he has been part of Shea Vineyards. Before that, he built his expertise at Willakenzie Estate, Blakeslee Vineyard, Hillcrest Vineyard, and several wine distributors in the Portland area.

His knowledge and appreciation for wine have deepened through extensive travels to some of the world's most renowned wine regions. ​

One of his first great adventures was a month-long journey through France, where he explored Champagne, Bordeaux, and Saint-Emilion. Intrigued by the bold, "inky" wines of Cahors, he sought them out -and they exceeded expectations. His travels continued for more than a year in New Zealand, followed by explorations in Australia discovering the unique and beautiful wine regions they both had to offer.
